Finn Borum graduated as Cand. agro. in 1986 and has worked at Sejet Plant Breeding since 1987.
He is an experienced breeder and has most years worked at breeding winter wheat including tissue culture, DNA work, pathogen test, quality tests (both food and feed) and field trials.
He is the breeder of several winter wheat varieties in Northwest Europe. Some of the biggest are Benchmark in Denmark/Germany, Hereford in Denmark/England/Sweden, and Evolution in England.
Big in the market today are Bohr, Heerup, Guinness and Kvium in Denmark and Spectral in Germany.
