Asbjørn Børsting, Vice President of FEFAC, (The European Feed Manufacturers’ Federation) has had an influential career in agricultural economics and policy. Currently, he serves as the Director of DAKOFO, the Danish Grain and Feed Association, and Variety Denmark, a Danish Seed Association. Additionally, he holds the position of Chairman of the Danish Bio-Economy Panel, which has been instrumental in shaping European developments regarding protein policies among other areas. Furthermore, Asbjørn has served as President of FEFAC for the term 2020–2023. He holds a graduate of the University of Copenhagen, where he specialized in Agricultural Economics, his career includes significant roles such as CEO of The Danish Agricultural Council and CEO of DLG. His current roles as Director of DAKOFO and Chairman of the Danish Bio-Economy Panel underscore his continued influence and commitment to the agricultural sector. Asbjørn represents the FEFAC Sustainability Committee, which advises on the EU feed industry’s contribution to sustainable livestock production.
